Job Description

PrideStaff currently has a great opportunity available for a Logistics Specialist for a West Palm Beach client on a temp to hire basis. Ideal candidate will have proficient 2+ years of transportation/logistic experience, proficient in MS Excel and have worked in a TMS system. In this position you will support the continued growth and success by assisting to insure that produce shipments are loaded, shipped and delivered to members’ distribution facilities.


  1. Support a  supply manager with day-to-day tasks
  2. Execute daily process of tracking, arrival checking and status reporting
  3. Assist with the development, implementation and coordination of company’s offices shipments
  4. Track and report resulting savings and on time deliveries
  5. Manage carrier performance issues and problem resolution; manage scorecards to include on-time, pickup, delivery and claims
  6. Experience with FOB shipping


  • At least 3-5 years transportation experience with demonstrated knowledge in domestic shipments or an Associate’s Degree in a related field; Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment and work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer focused with close attention to detail.
  • Participate in a 3 week rotation providing after-hours and weekend on call support (upon hire only); company will provide cell phone and laptop
