The Collections Specialist will be responsible for:
*Reconciliation & analysis for AR customers in assigned portfolio
*Commercial collections on past due accounts
*Developing and maintaining client relationships
*Provide excellent customer service
*Ensure deductions are valid; reconcile accounts with customer regarding disputes, returns and discrepancies.
*Work with internal sales team to address customer issues
*Research and ensure proper documentation is obtained to adjust AR balances in a timely fashion.
*Prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries
*Remit denial letters for invalid claims
*Inform management of delinquent AR, aged deductions and any other significant customer's issues.
*Work with the cash application team to insure proper payment processing.
*Work closely with collection team to reconcile past dues.
The ideal Commercial Collections Specialist will have:
*3 years of commercial collections experience
*Strong organizational skills
*Good customer service skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong Excel skills
*Strong internet skills
*SAP or Oracle experience required
*Strong research/analytical/deductive reasoning skills
*Ability to work in fast-paced environment
*Good judgment and decision making skills
*Exhibits professionalism and dependability
