Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will process payroll for all California Enterprise Retail

. • Will perform applicable audits as assigned on checklist including special payroll requests and final paychecks (refer to unused deduction report when processing payroll/manual checks)

• Process all necessary entries for deferred compensation as elected for each payroll

• Verification of Time and Attendance timecards in Payroll system for assigned branches

• Sending out Self-Service registration emails to new hires of assigned branches

• Paycheck Distribution for all assigned branches

• Enter new hire information into ADP for applicable branches

• Process any needed deductions from unused deductions report for assigned branches at payroll time as applicable Misc. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly, and Annual duties as required

• Involved in employee leave discussions with employees before departure for assigned branches as needed

• Send Payroll Registers to applicable assigned branches at the end of each month • Month-end Accruals of Branch Manager bonuses

• BVM bonus accruals if applicable

• Branch Manager bonus processing

• Distribute payroll vacation accruals to assigned Managers quarterly (during last quarter of the year, will send out monthly)

• San Francisco Annual Registration Renewal • San Francisco Payroll Expense Tax Filing (Quarterly or Annually Frequency depends upon amount of gross wages paid) • California State Quarterly Filings

• Administration of paperwork needed to set up a new state

• Research applicable state payroll rules and regulations for each new state being added to APMC

• Process Employee Change forms for assigned branches as needed

• Workers Compensation Monthly Journals

• Provide necessary wage information requested periodically from assigned State unemployment offices

• Payroll Filing (including preparation of all payroll branch folders)

• Will assist with payroll file storage management

• Daily journaling of branch commission expenses (AMB) Training

• Train branches on payroll submission when applicable for assigned branches

• Answer all payroll related questions via phone/email as necessary for assigned branches Projects and other misc. duties

• As assigned by Payroll Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements:
