Customer Service Representative Newark

A leading packaging company in Newark is searching for a dynamic and energetic Customer Service Representative with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a lean manufacturing environment. 

Must Haves:

  • Experience with packaging materials; wood, corrugated and foam products, formed plastics and shipping supplies would be helpful. 
  • Position will manage customer accounts and interact with sales representatives and suppliers on a daily basis.
  • Dynamic individual must be able to adapt in a fast paced environment making decisions quickly and confidently. 

Details of the role:

  • Maintain Customer Accounts
  • Creating new proposals/quotes
  • Sales order entry
  • Expediting orders
  • Maintain inventory levels; minimum and maximums
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets for Customer product listing
  • Problem solve; customers issues and internal issues
  • Shippers, time card shippers calculations
  • Disposition nonconforming materials
  • RMA
  • Order process review
  • Administration functions; e-mail, letters, filing etc.
  • Supplier quoting; cost negotiating
  • Purchase order entry
  • Maintain purchase order inventory minimum/maximums
  • Disposition nonconforming materials
  • Assist with physical inventories
  • Computer experience; Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage 100
  • Detail oriented, ability to muti-task
