Job Description

Pridestaff Financial is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support an innovative, growing and successful Boca Raton client on a temp to hire basis. Full time hours

Responsibilities:

  • Enter job orders, process returns and credit memos; process credit applications and update customer accounts
  • Process accounts payable and prepare bank deposits
  • Process credit card payments and receivables; send billing statements and make collection calls
  • Monitor inventory levels; enter new products, cost price changes and daily stock adjustments
  • Handle administrative office tasks such as organizing files, ordering office supplies, distribute incoming mail and preparing marketing materials
  • Assist with reports and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience; knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel
  • Experience with Sage Mass 90 and inventory software a plus
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
